Meet Carrie Webb at this year's Grand Designs Live
Webb & Gray are excited and delighted that Carrie Webb will be attending as part of the Upcycling Hub in the Grand Interiors section for this year's Grand Designs Live at ExCeL London. We will be exhibiting exciting new pieces, which will be available to purchase.
Carrie Webb will be there to answer questions you may have around upcycling, sustainable interiors and our commissions process. Carrie will be attending on the 1st and 8th of May.
This one day course will teach you the prep, painting and découpage techniques required to create your own unique side table to take home. Choose from a selection of paint colours and beautiful wallpapers to create your bespoke piece. The course is suitable for beginners and all materials - including a table - are included. Please wear old clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!
You will learn:
How to source furniture for upcycling and what to look out for
How to choose your materials - what paints, papers and topcoats to use
How to prepare your piece for painting
How to paint with a smooth modern finish
How to apply wallpaper to furniture
How to finish your piece
The course will run on the 18th June 2022 from 10am and finish around 3pm with a break for lunch. Lunch will not be provided but there are some great cafes to choose from on Northdown Road.
