Here in Margate we have more than our fair share of talented makers and independent retailers. We all know we should be buying more from small businesses but it can be hard to find the time or to know where to start. So I’ve picked out a small selection of fabulous pieces to help you! And, if you’re stuck for something to buy for me…. look no further, this is basically my Christmas list!

Margo in Margate

I’m a big fan of the work of Margo Mc Daid with her bold lines and vivid colours. She now has a gallery on the High Street in Margate but if you can’t get there she has plenty of prints, original paintings and painted plates available on her website.
